They do not seem to be serving any particular purpose otherwise. Just do not eat the books some of them are on.

*draws a blank* Because they survive in paper rather than water? *grin* Or maybe we can blame it on dimension portals~

((...Lobsters? Did I miss something?))

They are on the carpet... and they do not appear to be surviving very well, if that is what they are doing.

Who are you?

(( Lobsters!. Though obviously I'm picking on someone else's plot, for lack of anything better to do. (-;))

... you're right ... they do seem to be struggling ... -blink- *picks up one* *yelps when it attempts to pinch him* Perhaps they should go back to the market?

I am Ling Yao! You look a familiar but I can't place it, so I'll ask you who you are too~

Because they want to read books?

It does not look to me like they are reading. Or even capable of reading.

Maybe they don't want you to know they're reading!

Then they have done a very good job of that.

They are yours, then? Why are they in the library?

Some crazy guy thinks I'm a prophet of some spaghetti monster. So I told him to put lobsters in the library. Because I could.

::blinks:: I trust you intended that to make no sense.

::deeply concerned expression:: Don't disturb my holy mission!

Ah, this is your doing. Your "holy mission" is disturbing my work. I'm doing my best to ignore it, but one of them came close to dragging off a book I intended to read, and I do not plan to work around them if they are in my way.
