I roundhouse kicked someone during Martial Arts and knocked the wind out of him. Well not completely but enough to give him pause. Up until the end of last semester I've been unable to throw a proper roundhouse kick and I just got the form down right before orange belt trials. Now, I'm apparently starting to throw ones with power ( Read more... )

Wait. How exactly is Firefox boring? I love my Firefox. And it is definitely not boring (though some people tend to go, wait - where are all the buttons! What does Mario do!? when they first see it).

Ditto. FF has so many ways to customize it. I have AdBlock Plus so I never see ads, GreaseMonkey so I can expand threads in LJ without being a paid member, Zotero so I can screenshot things and take notes, Foxymusic, so I can control iTunes from within FF, a Download bar so I don't have to deal with the second screen that would pop up and they stay at my fingertips, and then there are the skins so that you can customize how FF looks (which is what Kimi was talking about. Oh, and then there's IETab, which is nice to open when a website won't load properly in FF.

Okay, I'm going to stop rambling and just point you to my friend Alison's LJ tag on Firefox. http://snipeyhead.livejournal.com/tag/firefox

Downfall of FF is that it's a memory hog.

hehe yeah I do agree that Firefox's vast library of add-ons and mods do make it almost the default winner. However, I've found that a lot of mac-users actually use both Safari and Firefox: Safari for speed (it IS noticeably faster, at least on a Mac) and Firefox for other things that require add-ons or when Safari's Mac-ified drop-downs and buttons don't carry over well. That's what I've been doing so far.

Haha, I love Firefox, myself, and I'm sure you could reskin it if you looked. They have every other sort of mod for it.

It's true, and I have reskinned Firefox to look like Safari. I just like Safari's sometimes problematic buttons and drop down menus. It also, not for nothing, is VERY noticeably faster.
