This is bullshit. I'm pissed that when gaming finally begins to come into full maturity as a form of art, cinema, and storytelling, people who HAVE NEVER PLAYED THE GAME jump on it as the next form of pornography and societal sexual degradation. I just thank the gaming gods that there are mature gamers out there who engage these fallacious claims ( Read more... )

DID YOU KNOW THAT BOOKS CAN BE SEXY TOO? BOOKS DESTROY MINDS. WE SHOULD BURN THEM.

Luke Skywalker meets Debbie Does Dalles? Really? REALLY? Really. There was more nudity in Star Wars than in this game.

You know, I could write fifty pages. Literally. On this shit, but I wont, because I would like to sleep tonight.

What I would just really love, love, love to know is why

1. Books
2. Movies
3. Music
4. Conversation
5. Art
6. THE MOTHERFUCKING INTERNET

is not ALSO causing the destruction of the young mind. They all have EXACTLY the same shit, most of the time in much easier format. If I am a young developing male mind who wants to see da boobies, I can a) play through 30 hrs of the game to see blue sideboob, or b) GOOGLE "BOOB" AND SEE WHAT COMES UP.

FUCK!

They're stupid. I like how the guy who said they were wrong got constantly interrupted and cut off, but the woman who was going on about how harmful it was always got to say her bit. I wish I could have joined the discussion. Also, though, you have to keep in mind it's Fox News. Not to say that they're any less wrong or that other people don't think this way, but they're pretty notorious. I mean, they tried to smooth over the government's mishandling of Katrina - starving babies and all.
