Man I've been neglecting

Probably because it has actually become a freaking struggle!

I actually managed to put on 10 lbs this summer with my thought process of "oh it's just summer. This isn't a normal everyday situation for me, so I'm just gonna eat what I want." Well consider it lesson so learned. That 10 lbs put me just that much farther from being under 200 by my birthday. It also negated about half of the weight loss that I achieved during my daughter's kindergarten year of school.

But as of this morning, I finally made a chunk of that weight go away. I lost 3.2 lbs this past week and I'm so happy about that. It puts me at basically 20 lbs from being under 200 for my birthday in 8 weeks. So that's a little more than 2 lbs a week, which I haven't successfully lost since I first started. So while I don't really expect that kind of consistent weight lost to continue, I'm going to keep on keeping on and never give up. Because in the end, the weight on my birthday isn't what matters; it's that I never stop trying.
