A few more tests were done on my father and they found out that his brain had actually shifted position and started sliding down where the hole in your skull is for your brain stem. Even if they were to keep him on life support, there would be no way he could ever recover from it. Even after some debate, we're honoring his Advance Directive stating ( Read more... ) -

My father's brain had swolen so much, that even if they acted now, he'd live as he was - unable to speak or walk in a hospital bed for the rest of his life. The decision was made by my mother to removed him from life support.
Thank you all for your support with this, I know I have true friends. -
Update
After 3 days, my father is still in ICU. He still cannot talk, but he seems to be understanding people now. Various family members have come up from their cities to come see him. He seems to know what they're saying; he smiles a bit after their words. He's being trasfered to a rehab type setup at my mom's hospital where she works; people have said ( Read more... ) -

At about 11:30 last night, I was getting ready for bed when I get a call from my brother-in-law saying my dad had a stroke. Firefox 2 / IE7 Audio Searches
Thanks to Skyler, I found out the search parameters for audio file searching on Google. I made them into searchbar search providers for simplicity. Why use programs when your browser can do it for you?
