My little sister gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, named Julia Marie this evening. Mom and baby are resting comfortably, and doing just fine. Julia's got mom's eyes, and the curly hair, but in daddy's coloring, so instead of being dirty blonde, it's almost black.

My second time 'round the track as an uncle. I love this stuff. :)

Aw! They're so fun and squishy when they're that little even though they don't really do, well, much of anything most would deem interesting. But still!

They're really amazing. I was just flabbergasted how smart my nephew is. 18 months old, and he knows that the baby is his sister, he knows the dogs' names, he knows to say he's sorry when he hits somebody.

He's AMAZING.
