Smiling, Kirk said, “I always wanted blue eyes, so my contacts are tinted. This is the real color.”

And I love your take on Tarsus IV, how Kirk could be affected by it in such a way that he could literally forget to eat for 2 days straight. Fascinating!

I have to admit, the eating bit is based on reality, but I thought Tarsus was a great way to work it into a fic. I'm so glad you enjoyed the story!

I will admit to being in the camp that thinks Frank was an abuser (at least verbally), but I figured he needed a break and wanted to come up with something new to surprise people with about Kirk's past. Now, this version is growing on me and I may have to revise my personal canon. :) I think Kirk had a crappy childhood, but maybe it wasn't Frank who was the problem?

Lol. I know how that is. I don't have a problem with remembering to eat but I have to remind myself to drink. XD
I tend to go the whole day with little to nothing to drink and then I wake up in the middle of the night because my body demands fluids. Sooooo not healthy. XD
I forget to eat sometimes too but can't ignore the hunger.

Love your Jim. Absolutely love.
Love that he did something else with his life then just mope around like with other stories, love the different look on Frank, love your reason why Jim has blue eyes in the movie.(I also have my own reason for it but it's a more far-fetched idea then yours XD )
