The band Kagrra, has an intentional comma in their name and belongs to the visual kei style of Jrock.
The band Kagrra, was originally known as Crow, under Key Party Records. They changed their name and their record label in 2000, and renamed themselves Kagrra,. They are under the management of the PS Company label, but are signed to the Colombia Music Entertainment label. And the term 'Kagrra' is a deliberate misspelling of the word 'kagura' (a traditional Japanese dance), which is commonly interpreted as 'music of the gods', but actually means 'the place of god'.

The members change their clothing and concepts for each song, and they are based on different periods of Japanese history. Their concepts might change, but their main one will always remain: ancient classical Japanese aesthetics.
Isshi is very interested in the Heian era of Japan (or the Golden Age). It was a time of great art and learning. During that time, they used Old Japanese. The women were only allowed to write in Japanese, and the men were allowed to write in Chinese, which was the official language for documents and other important things. It was thought of as 'girly' for men to write in Japanese. Isshi even wrote some songs in Old Japanese, which might make him seem effeminate.
Their Official Fanclub, AUGA, launched on March 3rd, 2000.
