This made me smile. Of course, all of your entries do. This time it was that I could see myself in your words.
I love "cottage-like decor" and tea sets, but I find the taste of tea a bit too unpleasant. Just like when I had my Valetine's tea party complete with Victorian china, there was no tea.
And for various homecomings, I wore the same strapless dress and I, too, realized I did have not have the boobs to hold it up. :P
I'm not sure how to explain this exactly, but as you managed to pour the burning tea, I knew that's what I would do. When in situations as such, I act the same way.
You have a very curious family, and you could write captivating novels about these sorts of things like Amy Tan does with Joy Luck Club. You are a most admirable writer.
The first book in the Chronicles of Narnia series is The Magician's Nephew. :)
Three cheers for we with no rack! xD Hip hip! *imagines Ann's "hooray"*
It annoys me that they serve Jasmine tea everywhere here. (everywhere as in the Chinese restaurants.) Tea drinker: Ahhh, this tea.. it is so earthy. Angie: Mommy, this taste like twigs.
My friend and I once came up with this theory that about 80% of people who claim to love tea are poseurs, because there is no way that that many people love flavourless, reeky water.
Perception of tea equals either: 1) I'm so zen. or 2) I follow kinky Alice in Wonderland cult.
I have to remember to pick up one of her books x)
And I'll make sure to say hi to my cousin Digory for you =P
I like tea, Hot tea though. Cold tea is gross, unless raspberry of course. Then I love it. Ive yet to be at at wedding, No one I know has ever been married, no family members either. Ive seen david copperfield on TV and whatnot, His magic is lame. Magic doesent amuse me in general. I like when he does the flying, Because the cameras just show his feet. How do I know he is actually flying? I am not amazed, more disgusted than most.
You are a total Ninja-wannabe, of course you will claim to like tea. But you should forget it, you'll never be asian >=/
And David Copperfield is my husband. I'm very offended right now. I need to go into the corner and recover from the hatred you have inflicted on me and my spouse.
