I am, without a doubt, an arts whore. Movies, music, books, plays, ballets, operas, painting, etc. I may not give a shit about what most of the world cares about (technology, sports, pop music, money, etc.), but I am still a consumer. The End of the Year
This year has been pretty damn good, all things considered. I graduated, went to Ireland, started grad school, got a job, went to some awesome concerts, read some fantastic books, and did some of my best academic work. I gave a two-day lecture incorporating communications, comedy, neurology, psychology, sociology, and business. Probably my favorite lecture so far. I also taught irregular verb forms to high school seniors with a song that I learned in 7th grade English. And it worked really freakin well. So happy day ( Read more... ) -

I'm taking a course on Transformational Leadership and Innovation, and my professor (who is also my boss) used her work with me as an example: how I developed the Group Dynamics class and completely changed it from how it had been before. Made me all proud. -
