I'm going with the fanwank that he was assumed bodily into heaven like Elijah -- I prefer that to God is an alcoholic who picks up and dumps fangirls in favor of patronizing prostitutes.

Yeah, I wasn't thrilled. Although honestly, I read that as Chuck being assumed bodily into heaven and not being God. I mean... really? I know SPN isn't known for it's internal consistency, but Dean was in Chuck's presence wearing the amulet HOW many times and never noticed it "burning in the presence of God"? NO WAY.

I personally was epically cheesed off about the Lisa bit. I mean, I knew they were going to go there but seriously... what POSSIBLE motivation would a woman with an eight year old kid to protect have to let someone she's met three times come and live with her and her son -- especially considering that one of those times was a one night stand and on the other he certainly didn't appear to be very balanced. If they were going to make her Dean's reward for a job well done (*barf*) they could have at least brought her in enough to make her a person and not an object.

I know, I know, it's the most misogynist show on TV, but I hate that it went out on a note that left such a bad taste in my mouth.
