The Red Wings have won the Stanley Cup for the 11th time and the 4th time in 11 years. Those last three seconds almost killed me, but they pulled it off. Unfortunately it had to be in Pittsburgh where the crowd stood awkwardly silent while Detroit players took their turns with the Cup, but victory is sweet no matter the arena.

Want to hear something hilarious? Someone posted this sort of macro in the Red Wings comm and I thought it was your journal. I didn't even look at the name. The person said that Pav was going to win the Selke and I said something about how he was fucking adorable and then commented about some other random things. I just now realized it wasn't yours and promptly deleted my comment.

I wish I was this chick sports anchor on our local channel. All the guys keep hugging her. Filps just gave her a big hug and a kiss on the cheek. I feel bad that you can't watch all the local coverage, it's awesome. Mickey has been interviewing players and they know the media people that are talking to them. It's awesome.
