Xmas in New England: Days 1-3

Despite some initial worries, an extremely generous co-worker got us to SFO for our flight to Logan (to Mommy's consternation, her generosity extended to giving the kid a Disney princess doll complete with wand that makes a sound every time it moves). Ah, I wish! At my insistence, the trip this year is less frenetic than the previous two Xmases have been. This is good--note my enjoyment of the sleep! Even so, starting tomorrow we'll be doing a lot of traveling (and socializing). There's just too little time to fit it all in and actually have a vacation. However, the kid is lobbying for coming back in the summer.....

Love the snow family!

There is still enough here in Nebraska to play with although it's over a week old at this point. The snowman next door is slumping, though.

Ah: that's "the teenager". As you can see, she has an owie [squished withered cherries] on her left knee, and a bandaid [bit of hemlock] covering it. Good enough excuse for a frown!
