Charity begins in Hope
I haven't started the daily vacation posts--something about actually having vacation and not even being online for three and a half days.
Today, the kid was being exasperating, and was told, "Think of other people." And she said, "Why? It's not Christmas!"
Tomorrow, we're back in the Bay Area. And at night, the raccoons come.

From the mouths of babes... today we learn that the only reason, and the only time, to be good to other people or consider what they care about is when they have an immediate opportunity to do oneself good. Hmmmm. Clearly there's a lot of parenting to be done between now and when she'll be expected to act like an adult. Charity and hope, indeed!
At any rate, I hope your vacation has been lovely.
