just had a customer on the phone who has been told three weeks by boss, when things are currently taking about five and there is nothing i can do about that... ring up to complain that it is was not there yesterday on the second to last day of three weeks and ask when it was coming. i told them the predicted date (ring take 4 weeks is what we say ( Read more... )

and that technical i was worrying about on another order, that i thought was my fault, nope, your fault. the emails were addressed to you, and they sent two reminders to you, and youve ignored them. and you dont copy me into the emails when you do reply, so i never know whether something has been done or not, and if you say youll do it in a moment, i can ask you that three times per three days and on the fourth you will tell me you forgot.
so when im like omg you guys, the customer wants it a week earlier and they are like, lol sorry, it hasnt even been technical approved yet, but if you can do it today we will still deliver it for the original date.
and i sent you an email going omg, is this approved?
and then you decide to faff around for a few days asking them random questions and not approving it.
thats going to be worlds of fun next week, if it doesnt turn up, because it hasnt been approved.
