Despite everything being in order, an uncomplicated course of events, the other party's clear fault, a police report in my favor, and an initial admission of guilt from the other party, the simple act of the other party's appearing to have a lawyer and change of his story has left this bullshit with the insurance company tied up for nearly a month ( Read more... )

The beauty of law is that you can always just keep studying whatever your undergrad bit was... I'll probably just stick to philosophy, lose political science, and tack on a different second major (what, I have no idea).

I'll hit you up if I'm ever on AIM. I rarely use that program these days.

"Law" as a subject hasn't had anything to do with justice for a couple'a thousand years now...it's just about using the legal system to win at all costs, no matter who's in the right. With your drive and intelligence you could go just about anywhere from your current position...maybe you should discuss it with one or two of your professors that you've debated recently. They'll probably want to see you succeed after the way you've raised points with them and supported your arguments - they tend to like that sort of thing.

You can be a math professor.

And we can live in poverty for the rest of our lives. :o)
Yay...
