I am suddenly feeling about 4 inches tall. For the last hour and a half I have been pouring through the bookshelf in my office - and am still not done evaluating what stays and what is too outdated, etc. The conclusion I am rapidly reaching is that my predecessor has read _every one_ of the books on that shelf. I'm definitely reading the "friends of St Mary's community" page, and saw this and I know how you feel -- my last summer job started out that way. How do you learn something that someone else has been doing for ten years in a week? But it's all good.
