Lori is one of the few girls I have met (in real life) in the past decade (yes, decade) who I feel comfortable with. I don't meet that many girls and of the ones I meet, I get along with very few, so Lori and I must have something in common or something that makes me able to be her friend .p (I worded that poorly. Sorry.)
Lori is actually a lot of the reason why I am with Vinnie. I met Vinnie at a party that Lori threw, actually I met Lori for the first time at that party too .p Oh man, Lori knows how to throw a good party. (Hint: it involves alcohol.)
Anyway, Lori gets the automatic awesome points for playing DDR and joining our weekly thing, even if it's less weekly for her .) It's cool to hang out with her on a regular basis now. It especially helps to have another girl around in the big group of guys, you know, somebody to roll your eyes with when the boys are being stupid, things like that .) But I don't know that much about her and I'd like to get to know her better. Actually from looking at her livejournal interests it looks like we have more in common than I thought.
So yes, I agree, we should have a girls night out sometime and leave the boyfriends at home .D

Hehe - Amy rocks. I think this is the first time anyone has dedicated an entry to me :) Actually, that party was fantastic for many reasons for me too. Not only did I get to meet Amy, so obviously the best thing about that event, but that is when I first noticed Adrian in that lovely romantic sense and vice-versa. Obviously this means I should throw more parties. Hmmm, or it means I topped out on that one because such wonderfulness can't possibly be surpassed and should stop while I'm ahead. Obviously shmoviously.
DDR is definately more awesome when Amy is there (which is most of the time I am, being the bum that I am for not being there every week). While I can't say it's less intimidating for a beginner like me to have her there, it does cut down on the testerone level a bit ;) And she let me borrow her hat on St. Patty's to cheer me up when I ran out of beer last DDR day - so for that she definately gets mad girlfriend points. I have very few girlfriends - possibly for the same reason she mentioned, that I don't get along too well with most girls I know, the comfort level just isn't there except with maybe a handful of them. Guys tend to be more straight forward, and while they are pretty damn confusing in their own right, I tend to understand them better. That puts Amy in the very small minority of girls that aren't too annoying to be around for extended periods of time, which means I should hang out with her for more of them!
Anyway, Amy - you rock my socks!
