No matter how much you want to get close to someone, sometimes your just too worried about what their spines will do to you to risk it.

Part of growing up is learning how to interact with other people. Does that make me still a child I wonder.

No. I find that many people who do know how to interact actually still have the mentality of a child. Well, that's made up a lot of my experience, at least.
