Computer Cable Question...

With our connection at mom's you could hook up the router directly to the computer using either a USB cable or an Ethernet cable. But I have no idea if the link you posted is to a cable that would work for you. Plus how good is the cable going to be if people unplug it constantly? When the connection goes out at mom's it takes forever to start up again. Plus... puppies chew things.

Anything would have to be better than a totally unreliable connection, wouldn't it? I should ask Andy, now that I think about it.

Bah...I just did a lil bit of primative measuring to see how many feet of cord I would need, using Ash's suggestion of walking the distance and counting, and looks like I'm going to need around 40 feet IF I cut it stright accross the room. If Andy happens to have a cord that's 40-50 feet, or a couple that add up I would really appericiate it and I can be on the look out for a connector. If not then no worries, I at least now know what I need to find.
