The clock was very interesting, although I think I am only more confused about this place and how it runs, not less.  If there is any magic at work on it, it isn't the kind I am familiar with.  I find myself more curious about the creatures we encountered on the trip down.  Were they once citizens and have been trapped so long here that they've no ( Read more... )

That's creepy. I've never considered the possibility that those monsters could have been people like us, consumed by the City. Food for thought.

No clue, I wasn't here that far back. I had assumed they were part of the City like the local fauna, similar to the youma-demons-from my world.

You know, I'd never considered that the monsters in the Underground might have once been citizens above ground like the rest of us. That's a very strange and haunting thought.

I suppose there's some similarity, but I'm inclined to think of the monsters below ground as far worse than the ones here above.

We've done a good deal of research on the monsters Underground. I've never even thought they might be the remains of former citizens. It's something interesting to look into.

Unless they were born here instead of placed here, I would imagine they have suffered the same fate as every other ripped from their home and brought here.
