Oh lord...

I can't believe this still goes on, and with government sanction, too! It's sickening

That said, I don't think caricaturizing the people responsible for this(especially to the ridiculous extent this article does) helps us to understand the underlying issues so we can solve them... (For the same reason just labeling someone a "Fanatic" or "Terrorist" doesn't help us end the violence...) In fact, I think labels and caricatures like this activley obstruct the understanding of the roots of these atrocities.

(sorry, i just spent a quarter in my Intern'tl Studies class discussing why labels and caricatures are ineffective and ultimately harmful in resolving situations like these... forgive me, I need to break into summer mode now that classes are over...)
