Did rowing and cycling last monday, yoga tuesday, avoided exercise till yesterday when I ran outside (like an actual run, not just a desperate dash out the door and back again) and then this morning I did a combination of yoga and a no-gear workout ( Read more... )

Where are you planning to do this? Newlands or Edgemead side?

Now that I am losing weight, I am keen to start increasing my fitness and getting more walking in than window shopping at Canal Walk.

Hey

I think I'm going to leave this till next semester and it will probably be UCT side. At the moment I'm just doing my runs myself but at quite a fast pace and about 2 weeks into a 5 week programme.

Would highly recommend picking up a copy of this month's Women's Health. Awesome dvd with nice 10 min workouts to do at home. Total amount of equipment is gym ball and a pair of dumbbells but nothing is needed for the cardio routine.

No, most defintely! Fully understand!

Working in Century City tends mean the traffic prohibits me from getting to UCT side at any decent time to join in but I'll make a plan on my side.

My Wii Fit Plus is good for exercises and combined workouts so I'll use that as the weather gets colder and wetter.
