Gosh I love this lady. She is my late-night-need-a-reader, my hey-am-I-crazy-or-is-that-person-nuts-double-check, my shared-horror-at-politics person. I love her words, and I love seeing how, despite lots of very good reasons to stop writing, she is still writing. Can't wait to see what the New Year brings for our friendship!

kathrynrose is a pretty fantastic person. She's always there to lend you an ear to listen, a shoulder to cry on and a swift kick in the ass when needed. She's kind, compassionate but totally no-nonsense as well. I'm glad to have gotten to know her a bit this year and look forward to getting to know here even better moving forward!

Kathrynrose wrote several entries in LJ Idol that I really enjoyed. Her sense of humor and whatnot is just perfect. I don't think she realizes how awesome she is. In fact, I know she doesn't and she tends to discount that a lot. I look forward to getting to know her moving forward and outside of Idol!

I first crossed paths with this magnificent individual when she was throwing down with some prissy toolbag in a flamewar. Her comment had me, quite audibly and quite literally, shrieking with delight as she cuttingly, hilariously, and just plain perfectly pointed out the hypocrisy of her opponent. I have deeply admired and respected her ever since.

I love her. Anyone who reads her and the comments to her entries knows this. I tell her every chance I get. She doesn't give herself enough credit, enough acknowledgement, that she is awesome and totally has superpowers. Her touch can heal, her words can strengthen, her faith in you can make you believe. We can talk about everything, or we can talk about nothing at all, but when we are together, I feel better. And she does know all the words to the perfect country and western song.

Lots of things for lots of reasons, but at this point the thing that sticks is her appreciation of first responders. It's one of those things we don't hear enough so I'm glad she's saying it.

kathrynrose, I still don't know quite what to make of you, just that your earthbound body is no match for your sky-clad head :) I breathe most people in in a breath or two. Thanks for being a refreshing and most welcome surprise. Write more words. I need to read them. So do most other people. <3
