So, I want to do something nice for people and I'm short of money but have some time on my hands.  Thus I propose a love post.

Helly is a fascinating creature. So funny, so wise, so warm, yet never reluctant to stab those who deserve a virtual stabbity. She's lived more life in her years than some retirees I know! Despite her diminutive stature, she sports a heart as big as the Great Outdoors. If you know her, you're a fortunate soul.

Helly makes me laugh, and makes me feel loved, and makes me think. I love her like crazy, even though we've never met in person. When I was having a very bad day, she called me from overseas just to tell me I was loved. She made me cry in the best way possible. She is one of the most loving people I know.

I truly hate Brujah, because she is so goddamned far away and I wish she lived closer so we could share drinks and bitch about people and just, I think, really enjoy hanging out with people the way we deserve to. Instead, she is in another place and makes me continually sad, but I suspect it's made up for by the people she's making happy over there.

Helly is one of my dearest friends. I envy her wicked wit, love her huge heart, and hate that she's too far away for hugs and coffee.

Helly is a special, unique, and amazing individual. I'm so blessed to have her friendship.

She has on many occasions made me speechless and teary-eyed, simultaneously.

Also, my husband *adores* her and did from the moment he met her, which is VERY RARE. So yet again, I say - she is unique and special --- AND too darned far away. However, I'm more than joyful for her because she is where her heart is. And that makes me glad.

I love me some Helly.

I tell her this all the time. I tell EVERYONE all the time, she's the person who showed me the power of LJ and how we can touch other people. And she was one of the first people to understand what I do here.

And she loves Batman.

She's good people and I'm glad to know her.
