So, I want to do something nice for people and I'm short of money but have some time on my hands.  Thus I propose a love post.

Here's the deal: If your friend doesn’t have a thread created for them then leave a comment with their name as the title and say what you love about them. If there is a thread for somebody then reply to the original comment

I have yet to encounter anyone who carries the concept of "home" in every fiber of her being as strongly as cluegirl does. Her talents as a writer and musician are phenomenal and justifiably legendary, but her deepest talents are the intangibles: her perseverance, her wisdom, her generosity, and her commitment to the people in her life and to making this world a better place. She does that to my world just by being in it.

Clever and talented and funny and beautiful - such a rare, precious gift to the world. I'm so glad I got to meet her last year, and wish mightily for someone to develop that damn teleporter, stat!

I am not strong with words, but I can do better than "I love her... so".

She is my life mate, my best friend, the person that has seen me at my worst and been there to help pick up the pieces. She keeps me sane and makes me smile, just by being around. She is more to me than I could ever manage to express in words, since that is not my medium, but she is the most wonderful and awesome person around.

Home, yes, and sanctuary. She walks with a deep graceful wisdom, and she has many faces, young and old, all of them beautiful and alive. I look for people who make conscious choices, who see themselves, who strive to be ever more thoughtful, more present. She is that in all of her aspects, and I treasure the lovely slow-growing depth of her friendship.

I have never met anyone that radiates power as much as she does. She's wise and extremely strong, so strong that she can both lead and follow, and wise enough to know which is appropriate where. She has a connection to the magic in the earth and can See where most of the rest of us are blind. For whatever my poor understanding of Mage is, she is one. I have said and will always say, I want to grow up to be like her. What I admire, she has in spades and I'm just so fortunate to count her among my friends. :-)

I showed up one winter eve, directed to her virtual door for a story of cats ... and found within a lovely person who generously shares so much with her readers and with the world. In sharing herself, I have seen that even when the reserves are low, it's possible to live a life that means something. And she's witty and grounded and warm and an inspiration to someone who is perpetually trying to get herself together.

I simply love her. I want to bend over backward to make her happy, because she makes me so happy just to have the privilege of knowing this marvelous woman, not to mention the supreme honor of calling her friend, and I hope she believes every bit of it!
