I'm reading High Fidelity by Nick Hornby at the moment. Anyone know it? I got it from Lenka when she was passing through Bystrica on her way to England. While I'm really enjoying the book, I have to say it had almost turned me into a criminal. Few days ago I was shopping with Ada (I bought a dress! I, with my gorilla arms and dinosaur legs have ( Read more... )

I feel like an earth whale most of the time, lol. Everything would be better if I weren't so damn short, really.

Yea, me too. I tend to steal library books in grocery/clothing stores.

The swine flu is as much exaggerated as was bird flu. IMHO. I stopped reading the newspaper since all they write about is swine flu. Oh, and the great economical crisis. We are doomed.

I think it's over the top, too. And let's not forget the end of the world in 2012.

I always reread them at one point of the year. But I stopped at Goblet of Fire, so I guess I should just start with the Order, although I really just want to read all of them. I love them so, so much!

That has happened to be a few times. I dunno where you live but in America, it happens to be people all the time because the retarded salespeople forget to remove security things or forget to deactivate the thing that sets off the alarm. I just go back or show my receipt and they send me on my merry way. Heh.

As for the swine flu, it's affected a lot of people in Mexico. There haven't been many deaths here and those who have died are already immunologically compromised...like elderly or babies or people that are already sick.

Thanks for explaining it to me. :) And it is sort of annoying, especially when people give you these stupid looks as though you were a badass criminal whereas you're just a victim of salespeople's incompetence.

Don't mind people. They're retarded and love drama. It was probably the highlight of their day. They'll go home and tell their kids all about it. Lol

i think the swine flu has definitely been blown up by the media, but that doesn't mean it's not a problem. i guess it's sort of blown itself over, but it's killed hundreds of people in Mexico and a handful here in the US. i'm not sure about other coutries, though. i don't think there's as big a restriction on travel now as there was a month ago, but i'd ask someone who knows for sure.
