The Sucky 4th That Never Ended

Worst.  Fourth.  Of.  July.  Ever.

It started out innocently enough: "Hey, let's go to the Indian Reservation to watch the fireworks display and light off our own."  So I'm thinking, okay, sure.

At first it was kinda fun.  Gotta see lots of fireworks.  And I mean LOTS.

Then, after about a half hour into it, we started seeing the same fireworks.  Over

Sorry about your 4th July. I just came by to see if you were still using your LJ. Also, i noticed your EH and DK 'is love' banners on your profile page and i realised that i definitely ought to add you. So i have. :-)

I have a kind of essay in mind on the lines of some of the things we discussed. It'll be a while, but i'm working on it.

Yes, I am indeed still using ym LJ. I can be a long time in updating it though.

Did you receive a reply to the last email you sent me? I got all caught up vacationing in Hawaii, plus a bunch of other stuff that's been happening lately, and I can't remember if I answered you or not.

I definitely want to see that essay when you're through. ^_^

Hi, Steph. :-) I don't know if you ever got my last e-mail. It was a list of questions but it was a bit rambling, to be honest. I was thinking out loud (as i do).

I think i'm pretty close to understanding what motivated Eric. Conversely, Dylan, (who i *thought* i understood) has become a closed book.

Hey, i had a dream about DK in the early hours of this morning.

It was 19th April 1999. It was exactly as if i was a moving camera, trailing him everywhere he went. I knew exactly what was going to happen and when. I was watching his mood closely to see if i could get through to him (some chance!)

Anyway, a lot of bad stuff happened that day that i don't recall. A lot of it was very trivial stuff. I remember he fell in a swimming pool. And i remember he asked two different girls out, who both said no. And there was lots of other stuff that brought his mood down.

And then it was the evening of the day before and i was with him in his room. I was myself at the age of 17/18 but with the sensibility i have today. I offered to be his loving friend and stick by him and help him, etc, etc. "But i already know that you'll say no".

And, in fact, he did decline my kind, selfless offer. And i woke up.

They haven't been on my mind much lately, so it was kind of odd but interesting, all the same. I'm so sorry he said 'no' !

but anyways I'm sorry to hear that your 4 of July sucked

I didn't have that great of a 4th ether but it was okay
I had to work but I lite fireworks before work
just a lil sometime , Hawaii Laws suck when it come to fireworks so even if i didn't have to work i would have been bored .

well anyways that in the pass and i hope your next Hoilday isn't boring
