[Private to Unohana and Kotetsu via Hellmoth]
Yo~ Long time no see, Unohana-sensei~ I hope you've been well! And Kotetsu-san, I don't believe we ever met, but I have no doubt you know who I am. Urahara Kisuke, reporting for duty, as it were--I was hoping I might speak to one or both of you regarding this peculiar little bug that seems to be going around. I've been doing a bit of research on my own, but without any samples to study or firsthand exposure to anyone who has shown symptoms, I've rather reached the end of my resources.
If either of you would be amenable to the idea, I would love to compare some notes. While the strange Hollowfication symptoms are a throw back to what happened a century ago, the entire situation seems to be just different enough that without a little hands-on session, I'm afraid I won't be much help. I'm confident you are both aware of the precariousness of my current situation, so whether you choose to allow me to lend my assistance to the cause or not, I do hope you'll keep this little correspondence between us.
