[Project Log]
• PORTABLE GIGAI: This still needs work; I've had to put it on a back burner for a while, with everything that's been going on recently. Gigai aren't in great demand at the moment, but it's always a work in progress. Abarai-san won't let me rest until I get him one that fits better, it seems.
• REIATSU-FREE KIDOU: Going well--Ururu seems to be taking a great interest in this as well. I'm not sure she's capable of doing actual kidou, as her makeup isn't quite the same as that of a Shinigami, so perhaps this will be a good experiment. I don't think I'll be giving her any nitrous oxide or anything anytime soon, but expanding her combat capabilities may behoove our cause. She wants to help, and it would be a shame not to allow her to do so. Perhaps I'll set up a few sparring sessions with her, to see how far she's come.
• LSD: I think I'm just going to call it that, for lack of a more interesting or accurate name having come to mind of yet. I've made a few small breakthroughs with the chemical formula, but without a proper test subject I can't get proper observations. The hormones and chemicals of the brain vary greatly from person to person, so it may be impossible to truly find a middle ground for this formula. I may have to set this one aside until I can speak with Kurotsuchi-san...
• ZANPAKUTOU MOD-SOULS: It seems I was a bit late on this one. With the zanpakutou issues having come to a head and konsou being impossible, the buildup of Pluses in the living world started to reach a critical point, and the Shinigami were forced to manually escort the souls to Soul Society, which, while effective, was terribly inefficient. A well-trained Shinigami can still fight without shikai, but a functioning zanpakutou is necessary for konsou, and so with Benihime's help, I was able to modify the composition of a preexisting mod-soul pill to be able to perform konsou. Theoretically. I still haven't quite figured out what to do with the pill--do I put it in a gigai and...have it bonk the soul on the face with its fist? I don't think that would be so effective--I think the zanpakutou blade itself has a metaphorical hand in the process. This will require further examination. Luckily, it seems most of the zanpakutou are back to normal for the time being, so the pressure to get this figured out in a hurry is nullified.

I recently had some Arrancar at my disposal, and was able to get a bit of information on their physiology and general capabilities. I'm not certain how much use this information might be to you, but I'd be happy to compile a report should you deem it conducive.
