Ron Paul Rally at UNT

Feb 18, 2008 17:39

Ron Paul gave a speech today at 3:00pm at the University Union building at UNT. I arrived several hours early to secure my space near the front of the crowd.

Preparations for the speech. The host here played the trombone while we waited.

This kid got up on stage during the wait to read the Declaration of Independence.

Finally, the Ron Paul signs started waving to the rhythmic Ron Paul chanting.

It was hard to get a good shot of Dr.Paul. The room was dark and he was very animated.

He talked a lot about how the Ron Paul movement isn't the Ron Paul movement. It's a continuation of the American revolution.

He also talked about his normal arrangements of policies and philosophies.

His messages were well received.

It was over as soon as I knew it. An hour of speech that blazed by with the skill and excitement most lecturers would die to reproduce.
