OMFG YOU GUYSSSS!!! F.T Island was in Singapore and I saw them!! OMFG!!!
okay deep breaths. Let's start from the start. I'll try to put everything in order so it'll be arrival --> showcase --> departure. Everything under the cut. :)

Arrival - 25.06.09
Okay so i ended work at 9pm then met my sister and hurried into a cab to the airport cos their flight was scheduled to arrive at 9.20pm and it was 9.15 when we were in the cab so we were panicking a bit. I was kinda in a daze cos it felt so surreal and oh my god. And the taxi driver didn't really help with the nerves cos he brought us to the departure hall instead! >_<
We had to run down to the arrival hall and there were like shit loads of people there already! some even standing on the barricades and such. Then there were super loud screams so everyone hurried to stand on the chairs etc but it was a false alarm but me and my sis were running around trying to find for a better spot until we found one right near the gate :) We tried to stand on chairs but it was like not working so we gave up and opted to stand near the gates instead. We had to wait a bit and there we bits when the fans were like singing 2pm's 10 points out of 10 points and SJ's sorry,sorry(which was super loud. hee). My sis and her friend( who cabbed all the way from the other end of the island to reach on time) checked the belt number and stood near the belt whereas I stayed near the gate.
There were a couple more false alarms but at around 10-ish (my hands were shaking too much and my brain was spazzing too much to check the time on my hp lol). Screams started from the people around the belt area (my sis and her friend included) and then the whole lot of us (i think almost 200 plus fans) started screaming and screaming. At this point, I really realised instinct plays such a huge role in the face of such epic events like this. I actually used this girl's bag( she was standing beside me) as leverage/ balance to see the boys better.
They had masks and shades on though so I couldn't really recognise who was who at that point of time. Then my sis and her friend ran back to me looking all flushed and excited and I think we all had like tears of like "wow omg this is happening" and then I caught a short glimpse of Jonghun. OMG YOU GUYS HE IS FUCKING FUCKING FUCKING GORGEOUS IN REAL LIFE. I mean i expected him to look like that but omg. He looked like a superstar or some prince/royalty. seriously. His gorgeousness is really of the royalty princely type of character.
I didn't notice anyone else cos they were walking super fast and after I caught that glimpse of Jonghun, the three of us started running. On instinct I swear (cos I told myself I would never do something like that). We ran out the doors along with all the people (including fanboys) from our section of the barricades towards the van.
Everyone was crowding at the entrance but we pushed our way through the crowd and ended up at the other side of the van where we saw Seunghyun!!! OMG HE IS SO GOODLOOKING IN PERSON!!! I was expecting him to be all cutesy and such but he was seriously good-looking. Like a kotminam. So we were standing right outside his window and then he saw us and slowly took off his mask and then flicked his gorgeous silky hair and then he smiled. I just died that point of time. My sis said I had stars in my eyes. OMG.
Showcase - 27.06.09
Okay, just a warning first, my showcase post will be very incoherent and messy cos it was so surreal and my brain isnt really processing anything at that point of time so yeah. It may also be very vague in parts cos like I said, my brain wasnt in the mood to process details.
Anyway, me and my sis like went out super early so we can reach early and get good spots but min (my sis's friend) was saying that she reached at 6am and she's like the 47th in the queue. So there goes our plan to take the train. Me and my sis cabbed down to the showcase venue and managed to get 156th and 157th spot respectively. It was still early so we organised out fangifts and tried to get everything done on time. We really had no proper planning so everything was kinda last minute.
In fact, at 1.07pm when we were supposed to queue up according to the queue numbers to get into the venue, the whole group of us was still at the shopping center near the place, trying to sort out everything. It was a super panic rush what with copying messages in Korean that one of my sister's kind friends translated from english for us, getting ready the gifts, (we gave each boy a box with random stuff inside, socks, shoelaces, cute chopsticks, sweets, chocolates, messages etc and attached with a ribbon [we did the attaching like 20 minutes to the start of the showcase cos we had to buy more ribbons. >_<] cute pillows with faces that comes in different colours for each boy.) Unfortunately though, in out mad rush, we forgot to take pictures of them so yeahh... I'll try to find pictures of the drop off box where you can clearly see the gifts we bought them :)

Our gifts are the ones right on top. The blue box with the pillows on top. I'll edit with pictures of the pillows when I can get them....Btw, for the record, I'm just stating that I will never ever do anything last minute again. OMG never ever again.
Anyway, we went in and the stage was quite close to us. They were playing their songs and loads of us started getting in the mood and like singing along etc. :) The boys came out like 15 minutes later and oh man they are all so beautiful in real life. And Jaejin! I was so shocked. He looked so different and Hot and guhh they all looked good. really. I kept turning my head around and focusing on different people at one time. I didn't see as much Jaejin (I got quite distracted by Jonghun lol.) and Seunghyun. Really. Seunghyun looks superrrr amazing and guhh. I couldn't see much of Minhwan cos he was at the back and it was dim there. But the rest I could see fine enough. :)
Hongki did this hey hey yo yo thingy? and then started singing. Everybody just went super nuts! The Bass was a little loud though so I couldn't really hear Jaejin and Seunghyun singing their parts in some songs. Oh and for the record, I think Seunghyun did pretty good in all the raps that Wonbin used to do. I think Wonbin would be proud. :)
I can't really list down all the songs in chronological order so I'm jsut going to name a few I remember of the top of my head. They sang FT. VS Pri where Hongki was like encouraging us to sing along. He said "sing yeppo" to help us remember the lyrics as he pointed the mike at us. :D. Then they sang a whole bunch of other songs such as Love is (both versions I think), girl's don't know, train, bad woman where Hongki was hilarious. He was like "next song...uhhh...means" and then he looked at Jaejin for help to translate the song title. LOL. He kept looking over at Jaejin to help him translate stuff. LOL.
And then there was this part where Hongki looked at Jaejin and then Jaejin was like
"Hello singapore...uhhh wait a minute." then he paused and then hongki laughed at him and asked "what's your name?" and Jaejin answered then asked Hongki the same question and then comes to Seunghyun and omg. the boy is soooo cute!!!
Hongki: What's your name? (to seunghyun)
Seunghyun: what's my name? (to fans)
Fans: Song Seunghyun!
Seunghyun: Ahh that's my name!!

Oh and d there was this part where they tried to talk chinese? and then Jaejin said "Hello singapore...I want....a singpore girlfriend." :D :D :D then we went crazy and then he said. "Oh...Sorry." HAHAHA. precious much? ^__^
It passed by really fast and then suddenly Hongki said it was the last song already and we were quite sad. So we shouted encore but it didnt work so we switched to F.T. ISLAND and they came out with the Singapore Showcase shirts and sang 2 more songs. F.T. Island and Until you come back. Hongki as usual fobbed up the translation. Lol. "Next song...uhh...you....ahhhh...." and then he said it in korean instead. LOL.
So yeah after that it was really the end and even though it was about 40 minutes, I thought it was woth it anyways since I got to see them so up close and omg :) Anyway, I don't blame the boys. It's not their fault they couldn't play longer. I mean they are tied down with their management company and everything. Still, worth every single cent I paid :)
Departure - 27.06.09
We went to the airport like after hanging around vivo for a while. There were speculations that the boys will leave on a 10.50 flight at terminal 2 and I totally believed it cos I personally corroborated the flight schedules going to Seoul and their own schedules and came to the same conclusion.
They were quite a few primadonnas already there when we reached the airport. However we were super hungry cos we had no time to eat as we were rushing to finish the gifts (I can't believe we actually managed to on time.) So we headed to the toilet to change and then grabbed a bit at macs. This was of course after we analysed the whole situation at the airport like regarding where we should stand and where the boys were likely to drop off etc. (it was a little funny cos I saw everyone doing that periodically when we were eating near the area)
At 8 plus, there was a van that stopped outside the airport and a guy walked out pushing a trolley with rectangular cases on them and since sue said their guitar cases were rectangular, I had a suspicion the boys were due there asap. So the 4 of us that were there ran back and forth from our spot near the departure gates to the Korean Airlines ticket counter everytime we see people with luggage that could be the boys' luggage. (we did see a leopard print bag. lol)
And then there was this huge commotion cos fans standing outside saw a van with the boys inside but the van made a u-turn, probably, to try to throw the fans off but it didnt work cos the fans ran towards that direction and then realised they were heading to a dead end so they ran back to the place they were originally. And then the van really stopped at the door and they were mobbed by fans.
The 4 of us just stayed where we were at the departure gate. A very good spot and omg I saw Minhwan first and he is so super cute!! I want to squish him man. really. And then I saw Seunghyun and he was really really good looking in real life. Really. But I missed his straight hair during arrival. And then there was Jonghun! I know I've said this a million times but you just have to see him in real life to know how utterly gorgeous he is. Like he just walked out straight from a manga or sth. Really.
They were so close to us that i manage to just touch my fingers against Seunghyun's arm (he was wearing sleeveless). The security guard grabbed my fingers after that though so I wasn't able to touch anybody else. Min got to touch Jonghun, Seunghyun and Hongki cos she's small and can squeeze easily... Yup and yeah if you're wondering, i am still going to wash my hands cos the memory is already in my head so yeah..and anyway I'm not that crazy.
So they all went in and disappeared really quickly. I think they wanted to do some shopping? Yeah that's all.
Basically, the highlight is when Esther, my sis's other friend said she saw their manager carrying Minhwan's cushion, the yellow one, in his arms and it was unwrapped. The rest of us spazzed and then started crying tears of joy cos they actually thought our gifts were precious enough to carry onto the plane. My friend who saw Minhwan really close said that Minhwan himself was holding a bag full of the other cushions we got, all unwrapped from their plastic cover and he was holding them protectively and he looked super happy ... :D :D :D I cannot even begin to describe to you how happy we were, we couldn't stop laughing/crying cos we really had so much panic doing the gifts last minute and all... I just, I hope they really love whatever we got them, especially the cushions. :)
That last bit right there really was the highlight (other than seeing the boys in person) that made my year. :D
And it was only when I couldn't stop crying cos I felt so honoured and grateful that I realise just how much FTI actually means to me. Like emotionally. I'm very emotionally attached to the group in general because I listen to their songs when I feel like emo-ing. They're my faveourite emo-song choice when I'm feeling a bit down and I'm in the melancholic mood. I guess that's why I was affected by what esther said....I know my love for them runs deeper even though 2PM is second on my list and SUJU is first....it's just that it's different kinds of love. you know?

This has been really long and I'm shit tired as I only had 45 minutes of sleep yesterday (brain too excited to stop spazzing) and tomorrow I'm supposed to go to work at 1pm and I'm working until 9pm and then after that on monday I have to be up early for a camo which I havent even prepared for. OMG.
