I love this time of year. I also hate this time of year. The reason why I love it? The leaves turning (though it does seem early this year), the smell in the air and all things related to going back to school

I sort of understand how you feel. I just finished my B.A. (friggin finally!), and when I was going back to school this past year I had some good anticipation going (until class started of course and I learned what a raging pain in the butt condensed distance ed french courses are, of course).

Having finished my university stuff after all these years I sort of felt a bit of loss... that era of my life is finally over, and I can say for certain now that I am *NOT* a student.

Congrats on finishing! That's great news. And it must feel good to be done. I remember feeling happy when I finished my MLIS (because I was in the program because it was the "responsible" Masters to do. *snort*). Only difference, is that I would love to be back in school for my MA in English or MFA in Creative Writing. Someday...
