Somehow this morning I managed to drop a heavy hardcover book on the top of my foot and then proceed to jam my thumb while using a pair of scissors.  I don't even think I injured myself this much working at a restaurant. oh goodness

I think jamming your thumb is one of the better injuries involving scissors you can get, so... there you go, the bright side
