I just had someone tell me that the last decade was called "The Noughties." I had no idea. I'm fully convinced that the reason nobody's tried to define this decade as anything is because nobody's come up with a decent name for it. I was probably too harsh. I've actually found some decent music, too, but I realize it hasn't been sinking in the way it used to. Maybe I'm just too busy or maybe my brain has grown a protective outer shell.

What were your favorite albums of the past eight years?

I was born in Nov, 1979.
In Jan, 2000, I was 20. In Dec, 2009, I will be 30.
So the Oughts encapsulated my twenties.
Yeah. Think about that for a second.
I would have much preferred to have had my twenties in the 90's.
