I caught The 5.6.7.8's as the soundtrack for a commercial last night. I think it was for one of those "cheap vacations" companies.

Edit: It was for vonage.com. I saw the commercial again.

Does this freak you out too? I remember seeing a commercial with a Red House Painters song that I had just been listening to and it left me confused...

The most disturbed I've ever been by music in a commercial was when I heard Rachel's (one of the tracks from "Music for Egon Schiele") in a Nike ad. I was in my college's Student Union cafeteria, and I just sat there transfixed while it played.
