I know it is a bit early to promote for an event on Saturday, September 17th, but I wanted to ensure people had enough time to search through their “stuff” and help us with our mission to help the hurricane victims in the Gulf Coast region.

Go internet! Ideas spreading like wildfire! I'll let you know how ours goes. I have no idea what to expect and how many boxes and bags to bring for collecting. Have you emailed them yet?

I haven't emailed them, as I do not have an idea on the volume.
Artie Lang from Howard Stern is playing the big theater on the same night (2 sold out shows), and I am thinking about calling into the show so perhaps his fans will bring something to the show.I am so glad you found this - it is a wonderful idea.
I know how boring it is just waiting out a hurricane, I can't imagine that being my day to day life. Plus these people know for sure they have nothing to go back to.
