*Didn't like 5 either* For some reason, to me atleast, it feels like rowling just packs useless fluff in her books the farther along in the series she gets. Book one is only like 300+ pages, and I loved it, I felt it explained everything well and got to the point. The books start getting larger and larger and I feel they have pointless things going on in some of them. I like the movies cause they tend to cut the nonsense out. And they USUALLY explain things a little better. But then again, that's my opinion. You said you liked them increasingly as you worked into the series, sans book 5, I am kinda the opp. I really love book 2.
