This was really lovely and well-written. You had such cool art to work with two. Those lovely strong lines and brilliant use of block color gave you a nice, wide, blank canvass with which to work. There was a lot of emotion in the exchange of looks in that piece, but what you did with it was utterly awesome and unexpected.

I loved Remus here. The invisibility thing worked well and rang true, but it also created great sympathy for him without making him in the least bit pathetic. To be honest, Remus was tired of being invisible. He started to resent other students for forgetting his name and for forgetting he was a prefect. Granted he never much enforced his prefect status, preferring to stay hidden in the dark corners of the common room - when he was there - but he grew bitter from loneliness and self-imposed barriers between himself and his classmates. I think that many of us can relate to that on one level or another, really ( ... )

I'm glad I managed to help in Thanksgiving goodness! I'm also really happy that you enjoyed it because I had such a hard time writing it. Unfortunately I didn't feel any inspiration from the art I was working with. I'm not sure why, but I think it was from the lack of any specifics. The whole blank canvas thing really worked against me here ( ... )

Ahhhh~ This was such a fun read! XD

My picture really didn't have much going on in it, so I can see why it might give you some trouble, but I think you did marvelously. As brighty said, it's not too hard to relate to Remus's self-imposed isolation the way you describe it, and it's not hard to relate to Sirius's curiosity, either. Speaking of Sirius, his grand entrance in the library - hnnng. Sirius in general, really, oozed some really great YUM, and it made it aaaaaall the easier to see why Remus was so smitten with him. And speaking of that, I liked the bit you included about Umbridge confusing gay and werewolf. I think it was a very telling sentence and made for a lovely bit of social commentary that didn't bog the story down in the least.

And before I forget, I loved the way Sirius talked. From his ruse to get James out from under the table to the way he told James to "shut it right fucking now" was FANTASTIC.

Ooooh this was such a lovely read. Thank you for writing it. <3 <3 <3

Yeah, I had a really hard time with your art, if only because there were so many options that none stood out. Eventually something did! I knew the scene between them would happen on their way to Hogsmeade, but I could never think of any good story around it. AND THEN I DID. :P

Sirius is a sexy beast. 'Nuff said.

Remus is my soft spot in fics, though. I like reading him and the different interpretations of his personality, because there is so much to work with from canon. Sirius is harder to bend to my will, lol. It's a power only Remus has. ;)

Thanks for commenting/drawing! <3

Remus is the mastermind behind the Marauders. He's devious, smart and sneaky enough to help them pull off all their pranks, so it stands to reason he'd be better at it, even on his own. :P

I think in my head, Sirius really only starts noticing Remus out of curiosity. James probably noticed and some kinda dare ensued, which meant Sirius stalks Remus. But then he likes stalking Remus, lol. So he's really super impressed with Remus's gutsy moves. :)

Thanks for reading and commenting! <3

Aw I was a little sad for Remus at first just because he didn't bond with the others but then I really like how he was accepted as one of them at the end as an equal because of his legendary prank. Sirius as creeper rang weirdly true haha I can totally imagine him doing a little light stalking in his spare time!

Sirius taking the blame at the end was just brilliant too!

Yeah, this Remus has been very lonely at Hogwarts, though he tried to ignore it. I think he just never realized that everything he ever wanted from life was right there, if he just opened himself to it.

The thing I find about Sirius is that he is intense in whatever he is doing. Whether he is crazy, fun, angry, cold, lusty :P, he is very intense about it. And he is so very creeper when it comes to lusting after Remus, haha.

Awwwwwwwwwwwww, this was so sweet and perfect. You know I love how you write UST, and I love that it was here even when Remus didn't know it was Sirius. It reminds me of the movie "You've Got Mail" - have you seen it?

I loved the scene of them walking to Hogsmeade, how Sirius grabs his elbow, and points out to Remus that he really don't have much to stand on in feeling sorry for himself. Wonderful.

And awwwwwww, thank you for the thank you!! And it means so much to me - as you know - that you wanted to help me and this fest. :DDDDDDD xoxoxox *hugs*

OH MAN I didn't realize I hadn't replied to your comment until I got to that part in your email about it!

I haven't seen "You've Got Mail", though it's on my list of movies to watch one day! That along with a BAZILLION others, lol.

That scene with them walking down to Hogsmeade was written I don't know how many times in my head, but I knew that was where I would incorporate phiso_kun's art piece. Thankfully it pretty much wrote itself when it came time to put thoughts to computer. ;)

I love everything you do for the R/S fandom, so it comes naturally to want to cheer you on. <3

Thanks for commenting, my dear! :D
