I really love this, my dear. First off, you used the art so very well, capturing Sirius’ natural ebullience and playing off that hint of sad smile on Remus’ face. The colors of the picture are so vibrant and the sense of motion so palpable, and you translate that well into words.

Sirius was truly like the picture here, exuberant, strong, and vital. And he seems to genuinely enjoy being a dog. I liked that touch! Yet, he’s also doglike in his caring and devotion and even jealousy. The way thought the wolf was great, but seemed just as into caring for (and cuddling with) Remus after the transformation was lovely. It also felt very in character.

I also have to tell you that I was having a conversation with someone the other day about outdoorsy!Sirius and how I firmly believe he loved to be outside. He’s a dog. It’s fits his nature. And you capture that well. Black, however, seemed to be having the time of his life, and while he had let the man stay outside to enjoy it, Remus had returned to their quarters to hopefully catch some ( ... )

This is great. You've got so much plot in there as well as the emotional development. Fenrir was really scary. Sirius was absolutely delightful from the beginning and I'm not surprised that he managed to wear down 'Mr Grumpypants'' defences.

Aw got the warm and fuzzy feelings from reading this - I enjoyed seeing their relationship grow without either of them conciously acknowledging it. Sirius' little attentions to make Remus comfortable were so cute as well.

I really felt for Remus feeling ill on the boat but I loved how you brought in the artwork. I love dawn as it always feels slightly magical (perhaps not so much on a boat for me but maybe with Sirius there ;)) and you brought that feeling across.

Awww this is cute! :D And sad and angry and scary all at once. I was excited to see what you had done with the same piece I had, and I enjoyed it a lot! Especially when he got to meet Fenrir. I LOOOOVE it when Remus gets to face Fenrir and Sirius is nearby. Four awesomes for you! Go you!
