Watching the fall-out from the new Tumblr purge is quite interesting, because it feels very different than Strikethrough did. I don't like or care about Tumblr as much as I did LJ, so that's part of it - I had so much more invested with LJ (literally, since I had a paid account) and also had joined when it was small and new-ish so it didn't feel so

I don't know quite what to think of the tumblr thing, but no doubt it will settle itself over the course of the next month- really not great for artists, though. I've already had a landscape flagged because it was far too sexy to be allowed haha
Still, alternatives are mostly limited so I'll be staying put for the mean time. I agree in that I prefer the blogging format, but it doesn't look like that model is returning any time soon...
I'm useless with ideas, or icon hot spots, though! Just know that I'm always happy to see a post from you!

Ooh, you and your sexy landscapes. ;D Yeah, it's artists who'll be hit hardest - obviously it's art being targeted, but also alternative platforms tend to have limited image hosting. It's a real shame.
