Do you intend to compile the excerpts into a single short story at some point? I ask because, although I've not gone back and read them all sequentially, I've been thinking that it works far better serialized than it ever could altogether. Reason being, I think the extended metaphors and philosophical musings would start coming across as a bit hackneyed or even forced if they hit you BAM! all in a row.

We're all our own worst critics. I wish I had the determination to write daily, and the sack to post it online... but, then again, all I ever write is poetry... and NO ONE reads people's poetry when it's posted online!! I've toyed with the idea of joining poetry communities, but I know that *I* wouldn't read other people's poetry when it came along my friendslist haha.

Yeah, I think everything I write is too dense to be digested in one big chunk, which is a shame because I'd love to put them all together when I'm done.
