Practicing Religions

I like the term "practice religion". For example: "What religion does he practice?" I find it be fitting because many people do practice a religion, but I think only a slim few actually get it right. And I don't say that meaning on religion is right and others are wrong (for ex: Catholic vs Jewish), but I mean one religion will have many

if you practice enough, do you go to the superbowl?

do you have to worry about different divisions, eg: catholics and kaballah-ists are in the same division, so they can't compete unless they go into playoffs?

if some dude kills himself in the name of religion, do you have to stop play on the field?
