and you can grab a copy of the swf (mine was tiger.swf) and scarily enough pass it parameters using a ?
ie. { file://localhost/C:/down/tiger.swf?flashvars=%22&clr=0xc0b3d8&cn=tortoise&an=eryn%22 }

(sorry for the double post, I'd dropped all the cookies while I was investigating the swf fetching because it kept trying to set ad cookies)
