It was pretty good actually. Despite it being held in a new place with people I don't really know.

I am, however, seriously considering driving next time even though it would probably take several years to drive from here to the moon orbiting Uranus--- where Texas is compared to the rest of our planet--- because flying is so awful.

My parents always preferred driving too, but I hate being in the car for days much more than I hate flying. Flying is over faster. And I can read or watch movies.

BTW, since you've read my other slash piece, I'd love it if you'd read this one. It's Sherlock Holmes/John Watson.

Wow, I'd never read any Sherlock Holmes fic before, but I quite enjoyed yours. So I went back and read the piece you derived from next. I guess that was kind of backward, but oh well! Thanks for the link!

I must confess I have never actually read any of the Sherlock Holmes books, though I've seen TV versions. So I'm not very knowledgeable about the characters but you gave the characters distinct personalities that fit with my images of the characters.
