I am pro-diagram and anti-narrative (which was my M.Arch education from 1999-2002), so the only comments I could make in that realm might be akin to something like, Buddhism is right...
BUT, please let me sign your petition to eliminate the word "sexy" from architecture parlance. I fucking hate it so much. Can you not be a little more explicit/clear in what you are trying to say? If you can't explain yourself, you shouldn't be teaching! Plus, it totally creates in/out crowds -- either you get it or you don't, either you know what is sexy/don't, etc. I feel like everyone I've ever heard use this term on a review sounds like an ass, or at least like they don't really know what they are saying and want to distract everyone from that fact. Ugh.
I took an Eisenman studio that was essentially what you are doing (diagram, project, diagram, project, etc.) It was great.
