a crazy fun day!
I've been up for a while, but finally got the energy to move. My room, it is a mess...due to an unexpected friday-night trip to ikea! it was supposed to happen saturday but snow was predicted so we went friday. It was nuts. Anyways. I made breakfast but ate it before i could take photo evidence.
First things first: getting rid of old bed. boyfriend is super awesomesauce. I have a lot of junk. Pic #3 is his "seriously?" face. Look! all clear!
We take a break for a 7-11 run, where he gets crack diet mountain dew and i get coke and a lotto ticket--won $2, not sure if i'll collect lol. Then...NEW BED!!! You may recognize it as the same bed kathleenpiper has, but mine only has a foam mattress, no boxspring. It took us about an hour to put it together, maybe less. it was awesome.
We sprawl out to enjoy how BIIIIIG it is! And then reward ourselves with reese's :-D Then i go attempt to get scale off the heating element of my humidifier (anyone have any suggestions? toothbrush+vinegar failed...) and boy plays with his 3DS.
I get a turn! Ryan always laughs at how i play...somehow i drive better when it's far away from me! Lol. Then he convinces me to go to the mall. Ryan in a Lego store=kid in a candy shop. <3 He buys me noms for giving in and driving (the ikea trip consisted of me driving probably around 3 hours total with like 6 legs of the trip...long story).
I had to get a new lamp/clock at brookstone anyways, so it wasn't a complete loss. Then home...what ditl would be complete without laundry! Then I get my computer set up, FINALLY. Been using my roommate's old mac for over a month because this one's motherboard died. Ugh.
All of a sudden it's getting late, so i make boy do what he needs to do on the comp while i get dinner ready for the oven and go take a shower. When i get out, noms! Frozen mac and cheese balls from Trader Joes=WIN.
Party time! Theme: "Occupy Valentine's day". There are naughty (yummy!) cupcakes. And my friend dan brought valentines, but he knows i HATE sponge bob so he mutilated him. Lol. Ry and i snuggle on the couch.
Lots of sillyness happens. That hat is dubbed Pope Squid, and gets passed to almost everyone. Many other stuffed animals appear. People are naughty with cupcake toppings. Y'know, the usual.
Exhaustion finally catches up with me, and we go home. I decide clean laundry can wait to be folded for another day (or two)...because a tired, i has one. We *ahem* break in the new bed, and finally go to sleep!
