Got home a little while ago from the Vernon area. Yesterday and today a wildfire fighting outfit from Alberta has let me tag along. Yesterday was mostly job shadowing,though I did participate ine lesson on identifying hazards. Well, you could do well with it. It wouldn't take an awful lot to get your cardio up to snuff, and as for being not so sociable, you work with them, then once the day is over you go do your thing. Being away from home isn't too bad, it took me a bit of getting used to but I did eventually. Camp life isn't bad and the food is awesome. If you end out where I work, you'll be in a cabin and if the camp's not full, I can stuff you in your own cabin. You can always call shotgun on travel time....let them know you'll puke if you end up in the back seat and they won't argue with you...it works for me!! Plus, you guys are first up when all our guys are on fires. Unless you don't think you can put up with me.... *snickers*

Having you for company would be a lot enjoyable. Besides it would be really nice to have a friend around.
