Oh it's such a *joy* to see someone rec Scorpio :) I was myself a big fan I must admit and my favourite of hers was an unfinished WIP called 'Inner Realms of Madness' which at the time I was desperate to see finished. Alas it never was and as far as I remember Scorpio moved on to pastures new shortly afterwards, but I have fond memories of all her fic. She was, and still remains, one of my favourite authors.

Thank you for rec'ing her, it's lovely to know that people are still reading and enjoying her work. I get so tired of recs being of the same old faces time after time, when there were (and are!) so many good authors worthy of praise who never seem to get their due :)

You're very welcome. You know I think it would be nice if writers, knowing they are departing, would write a little farewell note saying that it's been fun but RL has become difficult or they've graduated and become brain surgeons or something and no longer have time for fannish stuff. It might even be nicer (from a reader's perspective at least) if they would list their unfinished fics and invite others to finish them. I know I'm not a writer and writers might argue that's not a good idea but there are just too many abandoned fics, wonderful and intriguing yet abandoned fics, not for me to say something.

Or at least a summary of what they planned to have happen. Unless someone wrote themselves into a plot corner and had no idea where to go next.
