Amazing Fungi
I got a book called "Entangled Life: How Fungi Make Our Worlds, Change Our Minds & Shape Our Futures" by Merlin Sheldrake from the library. I have not known much about fungi so I was amazed at what it might have done and might do. The First Day of April
Yesterday was rather interesting on TV as on NBC the first episode of the 3rd season of "Manifest" began. Then there was a new episode of "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" where Detective Elliot Stabler, who hasn't been on that show for almost 10 years, appeared and sadly his wife was murdered though fortunately he still has his 5 children. Oh no there have been 7 mass shootings these past 7 days. We truly need to alter the 2nd Amendment into “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms *when serving in the Militia* shall not be infringed.” For others to have a gun one should pass tests so that only the truly ( Read more... ) -
Hurray!
Today is a special day to me as 24 years ago "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" premiered on TV. As I once wrote Buffy certainly changed my world - I might not have gotten on to the internet when I did (around 2002) except I wanted to read all the fanfics and converse with my fellow fans and I still do communicate with some of the fans many years later

I watched "NCIS" S18E7 on Tuesday and it was the first episode set during the COVID-19 pandemia era and for the first time I saw people wearing masks in it because of that and sadly the NCIS Medical Examiner, James Palmer, lost his wife Breena due to it *sigh* -
Happy Birthday
Wow! Today is John Williams birthday. He's now 89 and is one of the great current music makers and I so enjoyed the Star Wars music he made over the past 45 years. I listening to WQXR on my radio and it plays classical music and Williams music is now considered to be classical too so I'm hearing his SW music right now on my radio.
